The strap-on dildo was a sure winner... until the furry suit got a massive amount of vote in a little time. The hidden army of Internet furries has stroke. You people scare me... ;-)

I kinda hoped the furry suit would win, because I had a funny idea to poke fun at all those yiffers who actually voted for it (I hope they don't regret... lol).

For the girl, I went for the light hair/dark skin look, for no apparent reason. For shadows and highlights all over the pic, I used brushes of the same colors I was applying shadows or highlights over, in Screen or Multiply mode.

As for the final blurry look, it's a copy of all the original layers, with a Gaussian Blur and in Overlay mode. I made a few different versions, but everybody licked a different version. Here's a more crisp version.

Usualy I show you a scan of the penciled version, but this time I don't have one because I forgot to scan it before I inked. Unlike the other time where I pencil and ink on two different sheets of paper, this time I did it all on the same.

The problem I had inking with a nib is that when I erased too much during the penciling, the ink tended to bloth. But I've started using a kneadable eraser, which is like grey play-doh and it works as a charm. It's softer than a white eraser so it doesn't break the paper as much.

Ok, then I scanned the inked version in Black and White at 300 dpi, passed it through Streamline and imported the vectorial in Flash 5 where I then proceded to color it.

I wanted to see if I could do complex coloration in Flash. Which I think I could. But I'm sure I can do just as good in Photoshop much faster. The advantage though with Flash is you can zoom in without getting any bitmap effect.

I never played King of Fighters (neither am I really familiar with it's characters). So I did a little practice sketch, using reference pics given to me by a fan.

Now as far as the idea behind the poll's question, it's just a poor excuse to draw a blow-job pic. =)

Ok, for the rest, it's the usual (see the Nov. 02 pic in the archive).

When I inked it, I slightly moved Mai's mouth to give her a smile.

At the end, I added a little drop shadow behind the characters, to try to give it a subtle animation cell look.

I wasn't sure what to do of a grown up Mimi. But since she seemed like a bit of a superficial girl and a tad naive, I don't know why, but I imagined her becoming a striper in her later days (no offence to stripers).

And since the subject of the picture was "growing up", grown up features were necessary here. Her swinging on the pole just gave the dynamics this pic needed, with her hair, her breasts and money flying around.

This time, I only used the G-pen nib to ink (no smaller nibs). You'll noticed I corrected a few things on her right foot and in her hair.

For the coloring, all done in Photoshop. I made the background first, because I wanted her surrouning reflecting on Mimi's highlights and shadows (and it's easier to evualte how it should look this way). The background is a bit cheezy, but it's a strip club after all, no? =)

And for those who think the light in the left top corner is a "lens flare" filter, you are wrong.

As for Mimi, I colored her normally, using one layer for almost every color. Then I tried something new.

I multiplied all color layers by 3 (bare with my, it's complicated). For each set of layer, using the mask feature, I made the shadow with the top layer and using the "keep transparency", I changed the color to a gradient of green to red and gave it a transparency of 40%. On the middle layer, again using "keep transparency", I changed the color to a gradient of green to red and gave it a transparency of 20%. I did this for every colors.

The final touch was using the Dodge tool for the highlights.

There's probably an easier way to get this effect and to get it more accuratly, but I don't kow it! =)

Even though some people seem to have tried to "fix" the poll in favor of Sailor Moon, Rika (or Ruki) and Bulma were elected for a lesbian scene.
A little character research to get the characters right.

In the second part of the poll (I'm quite surprised), although it was close, a majority of people wanted the character's breasts to remain the same. In Ruki's case, it's small. And for Bulma, from the early Dragonball mangas (before it got to Z and turned atrociously stupid), she's supposed to have a big rack...
I did a rough sketch to find a good position.

Went on to draw the final penciling. I was too small for my liking, so I made a photocopy at 115%. (that's complicated because I didn't want anyone at the drug store to see what I was photocopying...)

Then I inked it on a bristol, using a light table, with a G-pen and caligraphy ink.

The coloring is done like the rest.

Then I scanned it in "black and white" at 300dpi, converted it to vectors using Adobe Streamline. Then opened it in Photoshop where I did the rest of the coloring, using Julie Dillon's method.
